Why your score moved (or didn't)

The usual explanations, in the order worth checking.

It moved and you changed nothing

Normal. AI answers vary between runs even with identical prompts. A few points either way between checks is noise, not signal. Look at the direction over three or four checks before concluding anything.

It dropped sharply

• A competitor was newly added to a source the assistants trust.
• A source that used to cite you changed or was removed.
• Your site became unreachable or started blocking AI crawlers — check Site Readiness.
• One assistant had a bad run. Filter by model on Overview to see whether the drop is in one engine or all of them.

You applied fixes and nothing happened

Two reasons, usually. First, timing: results only change at your next monthly check, and the assistants themselves need time to re-crawl and re-index your site — that can take weeks, not days.
